DECEMBER 2009
Merry Christmas, everybody!
Okay. The votes have been tallied, and the name of my new newsletter is . . . (drum roll, please) . . . THE TALL GIRL SKINNY! Thanks to everyone who voted and to Bill Littleton for suggesting the name.
And now, for the big news… GOOD OL’ GIRLS is going to New York! (For those of you who just came on board, GOOD OL’ GIRLS is a country musical based on the stories and novels of Jill McCorkle and Lee Smith, featuring songs written by Matraca Berg and me.) It’s set to open off-Broadway on February 14. Jill, Lee, Matraca, and I plan to attend the opening. Any suggestions as to what I should wear?
Two new features grace this edition of the Tall Girl Skinny: the “ Flashback!” and the “Pearl Drop.” We hope you enjoy them!
Until next time . . . . All of us here at the TALL GIRL SKINNY wish you and yours a happy holiday season!
Love to all,
